Botanical Sketching: Meet & Create

On Saturday, June 6 at 2:30 PM, we invite you to the workshop “Botanical Sketching: Meet & Create.”

Botanical sketching isn’t about skill or a perfect drawing. It’s about slowing down, taking in the beauty of plants, and sharing that with others.

What to bring? Your favourite houseplant, or any flower, sprig, or branch.

During the workshop, participants will sketch each other’s plants, chat, and share stories.

At the end, everyone goes home with a series of small botanical illustrations — and perhaps a few new connections.

Drawing is a reason to be attentive, to notice the details and commonalities that often stay hidden. And attention is the best way to start a conversation.
